Advanced Features of Loop You Might Not Know
Loop Route Planner has powerful features designed specifically for delivery drivers. Here’s how to use these advanced capabilities to simplify your routes and boost your productivity.
Batch Address Parsing
If you’re managing routes with many stops, searching each address individually can be tedious. Loop solves this problem by allowing you to input multiple addresses at once (one address per line). Just hit "Parse" and all addresses will be instantly recognized—saving you valuable time.
Manually Adjust Stop Order
Even after route optimization, you might prefer a different stop sequence. Loop lets you manually drag and drop stops to rearrange your delivery route exactly as you like.
See the Adjust Order Guide for detailed instructions.
Export Routes as PDF Reports
Need to report your delivery activity? Export your routes as professional PDF reports. Each report includes essential route details, such as total driving time and information on delivered items.
Location Book
If you frequently deliver to the same set of stores or locations, Loop’s Location Book feature lets you save these addresses for future use. Quickly plan new routes without repeatedly searching addresses, ensuring consistent and error-free deliveries.
Schedule Arrival Times
Certain stops have specific time windows? Loop allows you to set scheduled arrival times when editing each stop. The route will be optimized accordingly, ensuring you arrive within required time frames.
Customize Default Preferences
Streamline your planning by setting your default preferences. Specify your distance units (miles/kilometers), vehicle type, stop-window durations, default start/end points, and preferred navigation app. With these preferences set, creating new routes becomes even quicker.
Check out Default Setting for more details.
Full-Screen Route View
Prefer a full-screen map view? Just tap the map icon to hide route details, giving you a clearer, broader view of your route and stops.
Immersive Delivery Mode
Once your delivery route is active, minimize the information panel to activate Immersive Mode. Loop will prominently display your current stop, allowing you to quickly navigate to or mark the stop as completed. As you finish each stop, Loop automatically moves to the next, keeping your workflow smooth.
Quickly Restart Frequent Routes
Need to repeat yesterday’s delivery route? Don’t use the restart option—it deletes your previous records. Instead, use the "Copy Stops" feature to create a new route using the same stops. Quickly replan and hit the road without losing any of your past delivery data.
